HA! Just one more detail...the email came from "info@elviscostellouk.com." Presumably the multiheaded Live Nation/Ultrastar/Clear Channel/Ticketbastard hydra doesn't have its tentacles into as many things overseas as it does here.

I checked the new URL and it's just a placeholder, so looks like Papa really does have a brand new bag.

I'm pretty sure the combo of Elvis and bluegrass will convince Moeskido to go, so I might grab some cheap seats for the Beacon show tomorrow morning. (I got the email about the presale, but my brain just blitzed.) If anyone else is attending, give me a shout.

Hmmm, yes this does RAWK.

But. I didn't get an email. And I AM on the mailing list. and I did get the presale emails.

SO, no presales for West Coast? For which I am waiting patiently for dates to be announced?
sheesh.

No telling what they'll do, as far as sending out emails or doing a presale. Presumably Elvis has faithful minions he can press into service for this kind of thing on short notice...

I will say the window between show announcement and onsale was lightning-short. Might be good to check both his US and UK websites pretty frequently (as long as there is a US addy.)

I decided not to call & bug 'em about my stupid ticket overpurchase. They'll either cancel the extras or they won't, but I doubt they'll cancel all my orders. My guess is more like, since Ultrastar and presumably this ArtistArena.com that did the presales both just got fired, I might be OK.

May still check the public onsale tomorrow AM just to be on the safe side. I got better tix during the FC presale than I did using codes I had for either the Ryman itself or the radio station presales this morning...

Thanks for the news and sharing that lovely letter with us, Dive. I had a real problem with Elvis handing his website over to Ultrastar. How could the guy that penned "Radio" have dealings with a soul sucking mega corp? Needless to say, I never laid down any cash to join the fan club after that move. However, the words in Elvis' e-mail make up for all that.
Good ol' EC raging against the machine makes my heart go all pitter pat.
Do keep us informed about the new free fan site. I'll join that one straight away.

Well, Elvis needs to fire more people.

Just got my fan club presale code- for his show in Red Bank NJ at the Count Basie Theatre on June 8th.

Code is for show on June 8th.

Website is for show on June 9th.
