Umm I did say a while back that I played clarinet in junior high ..... it wasn't challenging enough so in high school I played the bass clarinet.........

I haven't put my hands on a contrabass, come to think of it I've only seen one from afar :wink:
The bass clarinet is quite huge the tip of the mouthpiece would just come to my nose
As you can see from the picture the contrabass is a lot larger the top of that would be over my head

:shock: :oops: Wow, I had a feelin' I not really ready for this forum :oops: :wink:

It seems I've read that this Copeland Family is multi-instrumental, even if not multi-proficient, the whole frustrated guitar player comment contributed to Stewart in an article somewhere. My Dad is keyboard, but could line out parts for other instruments back in the day.
