Like I told Animal yesterday, my mouth moves at the speed of light.

Plus, I've got a crapload of posts that just say things like "Welcome!" and "Thanks!" and "HA!" Those add up fast.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

You know we're going to make Eugenio crazy with another topic that's been read a kazillion times. We're not quite up to THE post, but 11000? Pretty good.

That view count was probably bumped up by people developing OCD hitting the refresh button. *refresh, refresh, refresh, twitch, twitch* That thread moved at the speed of DM's mouth, let alone the speed of light. But, man, that was one hell of a party. Just imagine what it'll be like getting us all together in person.

Guilty as charged, OCD refresher right here. I was laughing my butt off all day, in addition to enjoying the music.

Do ya think that things like this marathon are effective at introducing Police + solo works to new/younger fans? It seems to me like it would be. I've just finished "inflicting" the Orchestralli DVD on a 28-year-old friend of mine who's very musical and has been a casual Police fan, and she was impressed with it. Perhaps a new fan in the making!

LOL, it's all in love DM. I pick because I'm jealous of your posting abilities.

Lynne, I know I was refreshing like crazy the other day. On whether the marathon helps expose new people I think it did. At least in the sense of presenting the other bandmates solo work. I've mostly been a Police/ Sting fan, and I've tracked down Klark Kent and Oysterhead music but I hadn't heard Orchestralli, yet, nor The Rhythmatist. (I must find more of this, it's addicting.) And I hadn't heard any of Andy's solo work, and we got to hear a little bit of that, which sounded great. So in the sense of developing new fans, maybe not, but making current fans aware of what the other guys have been up to, absolutely. 8)
