Didn't see a water park, but the venue sits at the base of the mountain where they have skiing. And up the road is the stadium now used by one of the Yankees' minor league teams

Alright, I'm back. All I can say is WOW. What a way to finish my Mt. Rushmore of drummers summer. As far as the band, just flawless but still taking chances in their jams. Ninety bucks, row 18, and THREE HOURS of music, nice. I think the thing I've come to appreciate about them is that although they are tremendous musicians they have a great sense of humor about themselves. You can tell there were many inside jokes going on while they played certain songs and as was pointed out to me here, the video intros to a few songs. I don't want to spoil anything for the fans that have yet to see them but I will say this, make sure you are in your seat when the show starts, the opening video is priceless.

Neil was a blast to watch as usual, he did have a missed stick toss and the electronic trigger malfunctioned on the main fill part of The Mission, he was NOT happy about that. I tried to watch some of the show for DirtyMartini's perspective and at times I can see where those thoughts are warrented. A couple of times he seemed to be on auto pilot but that could be pure consentration as well. It almost made you feel good when you finally saw him crack a smile or feel good about a fill.

This was my son's first time seeing Rush. There were a couple of times where he had this look of disbelief on his face, like, how did they do that. My son is thirteen and is in his third year of playing drums, so, of course his main focus was when is Neil going to solo. Near the end of the second set he did, it's the only drum solo I know of that nobody gets up and goes to the bathroom. The solo was magic and so was the look on my son's face.

The venue, OH MY GOD. I had never seen a show at the Red Rocks before, what a place to see a show. If you have never been, you need to. I will go back everytime for an outside show for a band I like. The scenery, the weather, and the positive vibe from that place is just wonderfull. It seems as if the band fed off of the vibe there, like I'd never seen before. Find a band you like (too small for The Police to play) and just GO. I'd also like to say thanks for all the well wishes before we left for the show, that was nice.

I saw them in Milan and my jaw dropped to the floor several times (on Geddy's side). I know they aren't everybody's cup of tea, but if you grew up with them....
