Anyone post their memorabilia they got at the concert yet.

I got 2 programs. 1 for my sister in law in Kentucky. A tour shirt. A cool neon blinking magnetic button with The Police and the Synch colors on it, and a Police lanyard with a plastic holder on the end with the Police Synch colors. Wish I could have afforded more.

BTW: what do you all think of the program?

I wish... The lines for souvenirs was an hour long during the LA show. I figured it made sense to watch the show and not stand in line. Maybe I'll score something on-line. Is there an outlet for that on the web? Anyone?

Got a program. Nothing else. I was not impressed with a lot of the T-shirts. The "Regatta" one is cool, but most of them look cheap to me. To me, a tour program lasts longer than most merch (except for CDs, DVDs). Right now I have it right next to my 1983 Tour program to compare.

I think the new tour program is way cool. Love the archive photos, especially a couple that are very rare.

On another note, I just got off the air with Pugs and Kelly (here in Dallas). I was commenting about Sting's pan flute (Pugs thought that was a Stingification move) and Pugs incorrectly thought "Every Breath" was the last song.

If you go to the Police Fanclub site, you can get the tour merch. I saw most of, if not all, of it there. Here's the link:

They also announced presale tix for Geneva today....
(aaaah, a girl can dream, can't she?)

Gotta admit. I'm not overly loving all the new gear. The Synchronicity look wasn't my fave and a lot of the new stuff is heavily that.

Maybe I am just longing for a shirt with the "Silver Fox" as he is now on it. :)

I think it might be that I still have (at my parents-sheesh! I'll have to fly to Hershey/Philly for the shows and to get my old gear!) a lot of the older merch and I was looking for new stuff that has new pics on it.

If anyone sees any gear with NEW pics on it, please let me know!!!!!!!

I didn't get anything.

Well, that's not really true. I got memories, and a couple hours of insanely great music.

But -- not for any particular reason -- I didn't feel drawn to the tour merchandise. While my ladyfriend and I were walking around before the show, I glanced over a few merch booths that were set up. All the stuff looked cool, but I just didn't feel a need to wait in line and buy anything.

But that's just me.

1 pack of pins ($10! Ouch!)
1 poster (the older one, black leather jackets, Andy jumping)

I got the kelly green checkerboard shirt and a keychain, but I lost the keychain already!
I wanted a lanyard to clip my ID card and door fob that I use to get into my Dead End Job, but some scary guy grabbed the last one practically out of my hand  so I just went and sat down with my green shirt. :)

Is that $8 Canadian?

I wanted to photo the liquor booths, because I couldn't believe it.
$10 beers, $15 margaritas (granted it looked like a double, but...).

I watched one guy walk away with three margaritas and I commented that he was carrying $45 in drinks alone...

I did buy a $4 water.

Yep, Canadian funds. This was after we were shook down for bringing our own water, pffffffffffff!

Last night I bought the $10 pin set and one of those seizure-inducing blinking pins. Also a program, which I adore. I'd like to know who wrote the text for it.

I had already bought two of the black "Tour" shirts at Bonnaroo. There's a white one with blue print I may buy tonight, though. I'll probably grab one of the license plate frames to go with my GiTM bumper sticker, too.

I actually really liked a lot of the t-shirts, but women's-sized concerts shirts are usually styled for teenagers and don't fit me without looking obscene. Mens' sizes are usually too boxy and in colors that aren't flattering on me. So I don't buy all that many t-shirts. The black ones (I got the Union Jack one and the plain black Tour shirt) are kind of awesome, tho. Not boxy.

Oh, that's right! I bought some overpriced plastic cups of Hefeweizen for myself and the ladyfriend during the part of the Fiction Plane set we skipped out on.

I guess I bought something after all. Didn't hang onto it for very long, of course.

The Beer was good at Dodger (and the kids ate $20 bucks worth of hot dogs in addition to their tickets) but the margaritas were waaaaaay too expensive!

I've got a very good bottle of tequila at home with Stewart's name on it tho- but I assume it's likely to age a while. a long while. :(
