If you are learning drums, and you read music, then this chart might come in handy for you:

It must be an exremely daunting task to transcribe SC's drum parts onto charts. I'd like to see someone put One World onto sheets. Holy crap those bars would look like fireworks!

Playing any music off sheets is waaayy tough enough, let alone SC's masterful drumworks! :shock:

...you know, I was thinking about this project back in college, putting together a Stewart Copeland note-for-note drum transcription book for Message In A Box (I'd just picked up Message In A Box at the time)... never did get around to it, though... every once in a while I still think it's a good idea... you know there's a whole bunch of Neil Peart books, Bonham/Zeppelin books etc... but no Stewart/Police books... someone should look into that someday... who knows, maybe I'll get around to it eventually...

Sorry, I didn't mean to leave anybody out.
I just don't know who reads music in here and who doesn't.
I knew first hand that Shmaff and Chatchka did.

Not all that close to what he played...parts are correct, but for the most part Message In The Bottle is way off...did not read Walking On The Moon...cause I thought it might be much the same thing.

They are a good quick way to get the rough Idea of a song...kinda like cliff notes...lol.
