I just bought Brimstone and Treacle.

I heard you get to see Sting's butt! lol

His voice sounds a little different.

Great film and a mesmerizing performance by Sting! I saw it back in the late 80s and remember a scene where he goes to the mother with a dead bird and starts crying, trying to portray himself as a gentle, trustworthy soul. NOT!!!

I think it's a good movie, and the best Sting role.
The soundtrack also contains some gems.

Definitely his best role, and killer soundtrack too!

At the end of the movie when the jig is up he jumps through the window naked and you see his butt! :shock:

This last scene has been shot on 19.12.81, Sting wounded his arm, so the bass would be played by his roadie Danny Quatrocchi that night in Birmingham :D

That's correct. He hurt himself going through the window during the butt shot scene.

There is a NTSC region 1 DVD released by MGM with english, french and spanish subtitles.
Great to see it with a nice picture !!!
