Nope, it's "Babelesque," which contains new choreography, apparently...

From my inbox:
The world acclaimed Bellydance Superstars will unveil Babelesque, an incredible new show upping the ante even further in production and professionalism, with the launch of its 2007/2008 North American Tour at the Manship Theater in Baton Rouge, LA on October 16 and October 17, 2007. The tour is tentatively set to wrap March 17, 2008 in Durango, CO.

Featuring new choreography, luxurious colorful costumes and full-throttle production, the Bellydance Superstars’ Babelesque beautifully captures the multi-faceted art of bellydance – at once playful and spiritual; about escape as much as connection. The Babelesque cast includes: Jillina, Sonia, Adoré, Petite Jamilla, Rachel Brice, Mardi Love, Zoe Jakes, Kami Liddle, Colleen, Jayna, Hannah Nour, Sabah, and Heather. They will be accompanied by master percussionist, Issam Houshan.

Led by main choreographer Jillina, the Bellydance Superstars create a stimulating spectacle that transports audiences to a distant time and place. The exotic sounds of haunting melodies echo through every venue during each show, and the dancers perform in front of an amazing backdrop with washes of lighting and flame-effects. In cities where the Superstars perform two shows in two nights on the Babelesque tour, the second performance will feature a new oriental piece, a Zoe Jakes tribal drum solo, a new ballet/bellydance fusion piece with more dancers and a different tribal piece, allowing individuals who attend both performances to enjoy two diverse experiences.

Please click on the Links above for more information about the tour, how to purchase tickets, and talk online in the Bellydance Superstars website.

There will be a wide selection of merchandise including apparel, jewelry, DVDs and CDs available for purchase at each show.
thanks for sharing the schedule Dive! If you have not had an opportunity to see the BDSS perform, I urge you to give it a shot. I can't stress enough how good the show is!

Mardee - I am waiting for the Serpent Rouge too! Rachel Brice is an absolutely stunning dancer and I bet that show will blow the audience away.

Crap, figures the Philly-area show is (again) when I'm clear across the country!

I'll have to see if there's any chance to travel to any of the other area shows...

Hey Bella! Arecev! Conroy!

They're hitting Alexandria in November. Anyone want to shimmy on over for the show?

Yep, I'll definitely be there! Buy your tickets early! The Birchmere is small-ish venue and is usually sold out if you wait until the day of the show. Let me know which night works best for you guys.
