It's heraldic. If Mr. Copeland can spot it at a distance, then it fulfills the function of medieval heraldry; allowing knights to identify each other at a distance without having to remove their helmets.

Speaking of which, DM and Nancyrose just phoned in. Concert over, they're happy and heading home. Stewart showed the love; report to follow.
