Red Strat

Red Strat

As Andy seems to be using the Red Strat for the bulk of the tour I was wondering if this is the same one he had in the Synchronicity dvd or is it a new one?

it's a replica of the old red strat

shows the back of the guitar's head - it's got a "V" like symbol which means it's a vintage replica

remade to look old just like his telecaster replica

Close, but not quite.

That's the logo for Fender's custom shop. They do make vintage replicas, of course, but also original and unique custom models for artists who can afford/merit it.
