Show recordings? Unforgettable Experience in Chicago!

First off, just thinking about my first Police show 2 weeks ago puts me on cloud nine!

Second, with such a great show they're putting on, and the nature of the tour, I can't help but wonder why The Police haven't offered ticketholders a recording of each show at a $10-$25 price. Other bands have done this, and the Chicago show was so good that I'm going crazy trying to find a recording (can I say that on here?) Is this in the cards for the future? At least tell me that this Chicago show will surface on iTunes some time in the future.

I missed my chance to meet Stewart on July 5th outside of Wrigley. The two people I met up with at the show, Joe and Analia, said that they stood outside just before the soundcheck and met Stew/got pictures with him. Ironically I was riding The El train past Wrigley Field at the same time I was later told all this happened, thinking,"Hey, I really should get off at this stop to see if there's a sound check."

In any case, this Chicago show blew me away. Three figures emerged from an outfield door. When one of them pumped his gloved fists in the air walking back behind the stage (Stew of course!), I knew that the show was going to be top notch.

As others have reviewed the show, I won't bog this post down with too many details, but I will say that when the band cranked up to a blazing tempo at the end of Next To You, a better climax (can I say that word on here?) could not have been in the cards. The music, the energy, the crowd... if you don't have a ticket to a show then buy, beg or steal to get one. Immediatamente!

Then again, maybe the hair dye sank in past my scalp. Truly, blonde might not just be skin deep! Speaking of which, being blonde was uber fun for the show, though I didn't see anyone else made up the same way. Pity.

Fans were cheering and singing songs together even after the show was done, humming tunes, talking about the band. It was everything I had ever hoped a Police experience could be. Thanks Stew, Andy, Sting!
