When I was watching Al Gore speak at Live Earth I thought, "Wow....a guy who can actually put a complete sentence together. What if he'd been president for 7 years?"

INCUBUS POST excerpt...UH-OH....

Postby Kalypso on 12 Jul 2007 02:14

From the HorseMan's mouth:

"After dinner, as we climb into our cars everybody admires my brand new conveyance which is the newly modelled Jeep Grand Cherokee. Since I suspect that I may be amongst Liberals, I tell them all that it’s the new Jeep Hybrid."

Uh-Oh. The Split Personality Kiddo continues to puzzle me.
Is this the same guy who went to Live Earth, befriended Al Gore and suggested that he gets into politics again?

So STEWART, I am having a Kryptonic moment. I love more than any drummer ever existed, and in the name of love, before you break my heart (Old Supremes Song) tell me, please WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON???

P.S. My husband is from Detroit, so I appreciate your support of the US car industry.

Aw, he's not gonna tell us, which is fine, IMO. Music knows no boundaries, say I, be they religious, political or what have you.

Even people who don't agree with him may learn from him, and it might be nice for him to allow as many folks as possible to keep an open mind.

(p.s. he's mentioned in several interviews lately that he's considering buying a hybrid. This may be due to tougher environmental laws in California, or maybe he's like me and wants to get 30 mpg! Although I gotta confess the low emission rate was the deciding factor on making the switch...your mileage may vary, obviously :))

He might have changed his mind after Live Earth.
I don't think mileage is an issue in his case, but rather the commitment to improve the environment.

He has certainly the right to his ideas, whatever they are. I noticed an inconsistency and since I deem him a very sharp individual, apart from a musical genius, I just wondered.

As I am a quite frank individual, I am not stopping being a Copelandia denizen because he may vote Republican.

I wanted to know that he has not agreed to do Live Earth for the same reasons as Billy Pumpkin. After all, he has 7 children and hopefully will have many grandchildren and I am sure he cares about their future. :)
