The Rythmatist new remastered version

Postby cillae on 23 Jun 2007 21:13

Hello everybody
If you want any infos on Stewart's latest releases just go there
http://stewartcopeland.societeg.com/
Thanks
The new remastered Cd has a black label, the common US release sleeve( Stewart holding microphone) black back sleeve with titles, no more photos or details... but it is worth buying it.

I just got the remastered version yesterday at the local Music Millennium store, and it had a 'remastered' sticker on the front of it and said 'remastered' on the sticker thingy that they put across the top of the CD case. Also, there is now the usual BIG sized FBI anti-piracy label on the back of the case that is standard fare on all new releases.

My CD has the photo of Stewart riding on the horse next to the giraffe on the back, with several smaller photos along the left hand side & titles @ the top. The sound, I must say, is a great improvement over the original as you might imagine....

I would love to see it, I saw it once when it was new but assumed (wrongly, apparently) that it would make it do DVD.

Could you torrent it at demonoid?

I am also waiting to hear more regarding Giovanni's cryptic post. A review of the reissue, perhaps?

I think Stewart should release a DVD of it in the same manner as Everyone Stares.

All the extra footage and a voice over. I am sure he loves the music but hates the movie...I like it because I'm a big fan but I wouldn't want it released as is if I was him. It kinda has no story...I think.

bet cha he has great extra footage though.

He could call it "The Rhythmatist revisited: Barnyard sounds"

It would be cool Stewart.

Cheers.

I paid way too much for the DVD version but I did see that VHS version on eBay too. As I mentioned the quality of my DVD is average. The sound quality is good especially when played loud. :D
I did attempt a replication of it and the data corrupted on the copy but when I get this sorted out I will contact all you salivating Rhythmatists :!:

Time for me to fess up and all I can say is..........fffffffffffuck.
The blessed bloody DVD will not allow me to copy it. I've tried everything that has resulted in a small pile of cooked DVD's that don't play.
My apologies to any of you that were interested in this. I guess it's either wait and see if it re-released in DVD format or track down the aforementioned SOB that has the latest VHS version from Ebay
