Is there an alternate website where there is less Bush bashing, for God's sake... it is endless on this site!

There's not one iota of Bush bashing in this entire thread... I just went back and looked.

Where did you see him bashed?

on this thread alone.... even though you are talking about his father.. you refer to it as the Bush Regime!

On the politcal thread the other day it was through out. I can go back and point out specific examples if you want me to.

"No matter what your feelings are on the CIA or Mr. Copeland's activities (like, helping put Saddam Hussein in power, and putting the steps in motion to get the Bush regime running the country), I've never judged a man by the actions of their relatives. I look at Stewart as a great drummer and a seemingly very cool person."

Wasn't Nick Lowe married to Roseanne Cash?

I thought he was cute. Haven't seen him in awhile, though.

Oh! That.

"A regime (occasionally spelled "régime", particularly in older texts) is the set of rules, both formal (for example, a constitution) and informal (common law, cultural or social norms, etc.) that regulate the operation of government and its interactions with the economy and society. For instance, the United States has one of the oldest regimes still active in the world, dating to the ratification of its Constitution in 1787."

It's not an insult. You misunderstood the meaning.

yeah jeff & dallas....

i read the entire thread too and i don't see any bush-bashing - could be oversensitivity?

the thread the other day was actually an attempt to stop talking politics on this site to if i'm not mistaken.

Well, opinions are like, um, left ventricles, right? Everybody has a couple...I think most folks on here do a reasonably good job of being respectful of one another's points of view. Someone's bashing Al Gore over in the Live Earth thread and I haven't seen him called names or anything.

Nick Lowe was married to Roseanne's stepsister Carlene Carter (daughter of June Carter Cash and Carl Smith) for about ten years. Mostly they lived in London. I'm told some of the albums he produced for her are excellent, but I haven't taken the time to run 'em down yet.
