sting's voice was a little raspy/shaky at a couple points during last night's STL show, and my wife and i were discussing it on the way home, hoping that he holds up at least through the end of week, as we have tickets for both wrigley field shows. he used the throat spray twice that i saw... that might be the reason for the cancellation, to make sure his voice is at 100%...

I don't know. Hard to predict voice problems more than a week in advance.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the two reasons that I can guess for the postponement would be a. some kind of scheduling issues or b. the band doesn't feel like they're prepared well enough yet for the acoustic show. Considering the tour schedule, I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't been able to dedicate as much time on the acoustic stuff the way that they would want.

I'd be more than happy for it to be rescheduled for New York in the fall . . .
