I am very thankful and count my blessings for winning, BUT..

Not to be greedy, and there are plenty of others worthy, BUT..

If someone at TPT, or Stewart, or someone else of importance wants to slip a vip (backstage)pass into my ticket envelope for Miami....I won't mind!

Hey guys? We really can't be holding the flag up so high that people behind us can't see. Unless we want security to start being real a$$holes about letting people bring fun stuff like flags into the venues. They're already being really hard-headed about people dancing in the aisles, getting down front, sitting in non-assigned seats, etc.

(Which is also why I'm not posting a tenth of the photos and vid I've got...we're technically not supposed to have cameras in there. I don't mind sharing with the class, though, and I'll let you know if I've got anything particularly outstanding to attach to an email. ;))
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

What Dive said.

We don't want to be an asshat with the Flag.

It's cool to get a thumbs up from Stew if he spots it and wave it when appropriate, but we don't want to interfere with other folks' enjoyment of the performances. That just wouldn't be kool.

Oh, Kellie is SO going to kill you, sweetheart.

Ditto to Dive and sockii. In fact, http://www.stewartcopeland.net/forum/vi ... php?t=3284

Congrats CP! Have a great time and let that flag fly! (within reason.)

Dive, I hope you do share. What little bit I saw looked awesome. I know what you mean about "we're technically not supposed to have cameras in there" (partly why I chickened out and left the camera at home) but you wouldn't believe how many viewfinder screens I could see from where I sat. If they weren't cameras, there were loads of camera phones going.

Thank you for that parenthetical, mardee.

Venue security varies, of course, but think of it this way: that excellent vid of "Roxanne" back in Seattle was worth more than a thousand words in the newspaper. Look how much interest it generated here -- and we're already the konverted.

Photos and videos on the net are free advertising for the band. Since we actually like them in this case, that's not a terrible thing.
