And now Starbucks is selling Police CDs ??!!??

Any Lewis Black fans out there? I love his bit about the Starbucks across the street from a Starbucks on 'The End of the Universe' album. I just saw him last week here in PDX actually....first stand up comic I've ever seen live. Almost everything was new material & I was sore the next day from laughing so hard...highly recommended if you like to laugh.

I prefer a local cup of coffee, if I must have coffee at all, but I have to say that Starbucks actually has someone decent doing their music buying. I have seen some great albums highlighted in there. The Shins, The Jayhawks, Chuck Berry, Al Green, REVOLVER. Granted, if you only bought your music there you would have a really mellow collection with a serious slant toward oldies and the mainstream. It's probably a great place to sell The Police albums but even better for something like Mercury Falling.

I love Starbucks. The financing department for the last frappucino I bought were very helpful and gave me a great loan rate. :P
All made up and nowhere to go,

Phil Collins and his friends were in town last night and played their Starbucks music. Did sound like ever Live record they ever did.
The fans got what they wanted - aren't we lucky "our band" kicks us in the ass and is forcing us not to act all old and grumpy - or just to fuck off ... !
