who's going to the boston show on 7/28?

i was just wondering because i haven't seen anyone talking about that date and i will be staying there all weekend and was looking to hook up and meet some of you!

I will be there - section A7.
I will also have the flag, so hopefully we can meet up.
Fenway security is pretty tight, especially on the field, so
I'm thinking of posting a meeting place for all those SC.neters (do we have an official name?) to gather and sign the mighty flag. I'll keep you posted.

good to know... i'm happy knowing the flag will be there! i'm excited to meet everyone! i'd love to go out after the concert too, so if anyone is interested in doing that, i'm sure i'll be in for a few drinks

you said security is tight... what about cameras? what do you suggest?

Fenway Park has hosted only a handful of concerts over the years, infact 2003's Bruce Springsteen show was the first concert in 30 years. Since then The Stones, Dave Matthews and Buffett have played the venue. I've heard from friends that security is tight when it comes to seating and walking around on the field. My concern is that even if you spotted me with the flag, it may be difficult to get to me. A central meeting place is probably the way to go.

i see... i don't plan on moving from my seat! i think i'm in sec. B1 or B6 - i have tickets on both sides, but i don't know which one i'm using yet. you just let me know what the plan is and i'll be there. i'm staying at the fairmont all weekend!

Methinks if people try to choose an Official Designation, then people have pushed the envelope into Official Fanwankery.

(I personally use both "Copelandians" and "Copelanders," plus whatever other variation might fall out of my brain (or fits the rhyme scheme) at the moment.)
