Bring on the Night brings me peace!

Today has been a very stressful day. I work in public health for HIV/STD and HCV services and we are in the thick of a GIANT project to make sure that thousands of people continue to get care and prevention services. We are held under great scrutiny from the legislature and other power holders, so there is a great deal of weight on our shoulders. I'm heading up this project and its exciting yet so incredibly stressful. It has been like this for over a month. Well, today I reached my overly stressed point so I put in my Ipod and began playing playing the beginning of Bring on the Night over and over. I cannot tell you how calming this song is to me. I listen to it and feel like I'm getting a GIANT warm hug. Sting's bass, Stewart's drums, and Andy's guitar are so incredibly beautiful.
Thanks so much to Stewart, Andy and Sting. This song, this song is IT for me! I am almost in tears with great excitement to see you in Vegas and then Tampa so very soon! Now, back to the public's health!

One of my favs as a stress buster is walk on by u2 - kinda comforting somehow for me!

Bring on the night is my all time favourite song ever!! Not just my favourite Police track but ever....

I love to lay out in the dark or between dusk and nightfall and listen to it real loud!!! I turn the base up on my Hifi so much it makes my windows vibrate!!

I cannot get enough of this song...

Jenny.. you do a real tough job and we thank you for it... Keep the ipod plugged in and the music will see you through....

thanks so much, kimmy and steve. i love that i can post here and share my experiences with you all!
this reunion has been amazing for me when it comes to reconnecting to music. earlier in the year i reconnected with Next to You while skiing down a black diamond and then Secret Journey while going through family crisis. it is all good!
