Personally, I wouldn't bet against an acoustic version of "Bring On The Night" ........

I think an acoustic "Message" would work really well, but I think the odds on hearing it that way have got to be pretty lousy. And, yeah, an acoustic "Bring on the Night" would be fantastic.

Cool article! I look forward to hearing whatever new arrangements they have planned. While it takes a lot of talent to reproduce your songs note-for-note in a live format, it would be less motivation for me to attend a show. The more improvisatory, the better!

We have *got* to get some new news soon cuz I would swear that we've already had much of this conversation about a dozen times over.

Acoustic-wise, "Bring on the Night" would easily work. "Every . . . Magic" is definitely a possibility, particularly re: SC's recent "diamond" comment. I agree that "Message" would work nicely but is unlikely -- lots of drums are part of the signature of the tune (and rightly so). "DDDDDDDD" would work although I wonder if it might be a bit annoying.

It won't happen, but I would be curious to hear an acoustic "CSLY." And "Bed's Too Big" (mmmmm). And "Darkness." Alas, a girl can dream.

So I guess my money's on an acoustic "Behind My Camel."
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Get the Secret Policeman's OTHER Ball (circa 1981) which is sting and an electric guitar, and it sounded fantastic. However, with The Police, and
Message in a Bottle being Stew's fave police song, well, I'd bet on Pete Rose getting a statue in the hall of fame before they'd do it acoustically.
