I am so totally going to lose, but what the hell.

For those of you located near more obscure venues, it might not be a terrible thing to take a shot at. I bid barely higher than the price of a regular price ticket (which is why I'm going to lose) -- but in a less populated area, that might have a better chance at success.

Not like I pay anything to lose.

It took me a while to figure it out, Georgy. It's really bad IA.

1. Go here: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/1101273?brand=police

2. Find the show that you want to go to and click on the appropriate "Find Tickets" link.

3. You have to find the light blue tab that says "Bid On Auction." (The "Bid On Auction" link is located just under the Police logo, to the right of the words "On Sale Now.")

4. Click on "WaterAid Auction" and that will take you to the page where you can bid.

One problem: I don't know if people out-of-country can bid on the tickets. I tried to bid on the opening night in Vancouver, but I was blocked -- it would only allow addresses located in Canada. But it certainly couldn't hurt for you to try.
