hmmm. I would rather say Egyptian-Italian...my mother is from Egypt, even if she had Italian roots...many Italians from the Thirties were born in Africa (Egypt, Eritrea) as many italians were working there...she was born and grew up in Alessandria .... she came to Italy when she was a little girl of 15 years old.
Also lot of Italians in Ethiophia!!! and in South America in Argentina, Brasil, Peru, Venezuela, Chile... You a re in all the Planet ...like Chinese people Hahahaha!!!

By the way, I have italian roots.. and in chritmas is a classic to eat "Panettonne" I really love It... Christmas time without "Panettonne" isn't Christmas in Lima 8)

Also in Monterrey, México. Figure I married one and now my daughter and sons are half Italian, half Mexicans.

Anyway, Italian people are very cute. Bellini...

So the Chinese guy dancing in Georgia is Italian with African roots and is Gio

Strange things happen in One world is enough for all of us!

Panettone? That comes from my city (Milano).

As to the guy in SYNCHRONICTY CONCERT, I hope he will show up one day, it would be good to read he's still a Police fan...and it would be good to see him again on the next Police live dvd....

I agree... How do you know he's Chinese? To me, he looked more Korean, but I may be wrong. He is adorable, though.

Oh, and don't call them Oriental. The correct term is Asian.

This kid is definitely from the Montreal show and not Atlanta. Don't know if this has been mentioned here before, but there are a lot of audience shots on the Synchronicity Concert dvd that are from the Montreal crowd. From what I recall, the Montreal show which was at some small venue was supposed to be the official release, but the band wasn't happy with it. Personally, I prefer the Montreal show which aired on MuchMusic back in 83-84. The sequence with the Asian kid was much longer too.

Could you describe us something interesting about that chinese boy on the long version footage of Montreal Concert 1983?

PS: by the way, in 1983 that boy was like Karate Kid, I think nowadays he looks like "Mioshi" - Patt Morita ( his Karate Master) :)
