Your quote is very hard Mrs. G...

Teens never told me Police´s music is uncool, they like it, but found it as classic rock...

Okay, maybe you like this music better than new one, but you represent jus a few...

When students make some video works, they put font music from 'Cold Play, (example)

I really hope with this new Police´s world tour, they will conquer all people, Old, mature, young, teens, kids, babies and so on...

In case Stew happens to read this, I want to clarify that when I said:

"Unfortunately, there seems to have been a bit of conflict even then about Stew pushing the tempo, but I think it's a big part of what made the band work."

I was talking about Stew pushing the tempo, not conflict. :x

I absolutely agree, W&S. E.g., "Can't Stand Losing You" (studio version) is a good song, but the faster version played live is mind-blowing.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Okay you are right Mrs. gradenko on this:
Georgy it's just the way it is and... they'd never tell you.

But I don´t think just for this, some teenagers said The Police music is one band that represents classic rock...

Anyway they like it, but they rather music from new groups. Just a few prefer old music like you do.

And Mrs. Gradenko, tell me what are your bands preferences in new rock music?
There are plenty of kids these days who listen to older music. The thing about the Police, because they broke up so early, is that they sort of disappeared off the radar screen. Once they split and Sting morphed into making easy-listening music for middle-aged housewives, it was almost as if they never existed as far as public consciousness goes. Now that they're back together, it will be a chance for them to remind people of what they were like, and maybe get more of the credit they deserve. A really good new album would help, though. ;)

As for the Police being "classic rock", the reason why they stood out in the first place is that they were NOT HIPPIES. Even though they are technically baby boomers, they were a part of a new generation of music. They are kind of like honorary "Gen X-ers". You can't listen to their sound and not recognize that they're far more modern than a band like the Eagles, much less the Rolling Stones.
