The Police stuff - how to sell...

ok, the forum will close in a few days, but for those who are not on facebook I wanted to mention this anyway:

I'm thinking of starting to sell lots of The Police items
and I would like to ask you what's the best way to do that

* one can't take all that stuff into the grave
* one can never really have all the stuff that's out there, so I might as well concentrate on the aspects that are most important to The PoliceWiki --- photos, information, memorabilia for the website
so how to proceed?

* I could put up an ebay auction for everybody out there
* I could generate interest here on collectors pages - and "select" a few worthy buyers who could do some private auction
* select a fixed price and sell it to the first person who commits to that

what would you prefer ?
