I clearly remember The Police and their infamous disaster gig like it was yesterday. There is something about Rogers Arena (formerly named GM Place) that seems to have an effect on some bands (and a certain hockey team) when they perform there. Pearl Jam's guitarist, Mike McCready, was not immune to this phenomenon at the inaugural show of their Dark Matter tour on May 4. He doesn't miss a note as he takes a fall off the stage and makes a seamless recovery. So, is it the venue or the month of May or both or...?
