Weimar/GERMANY, Deutsches Nationaltheather, Großes Haus
Opera by Stewart Copeland and Jonathan Moore
recording info:
Sony ECM-717 -> Roland Edirol R-09HR (WAV 24bit/44.1 KHz)
The opera was spoken & sung in English language.
German subtitles could be seen on an LED screen under the stage.
To me it was better than expected.
The story is really interesting, the characters were played very well.
Especially I enjoyed JP Morgan [like a brother of J.R. Ewing
] and Thomas Edison.
I am a bit 'opera experienced' so the singing parts were not too bad in my ears.
What I really can't stand are looong female soprano parts but this was not the case.
Too bad that the Maestro himself was not present...
I was most impressed when the two "tesla towers" played some of the music (you can see a comparable experiment here

Cheers & enjoy!
