Hey guys,

How do you like to set up your kit? a la 1984? a la 2007?
Personally, I use hybrid of both, using 10-12 toms over the bass and then 13 and 16 to my right, leaving the 18 to my left: with that combination I can have the advantage of the 2007 "tight" and accessible kit, but still got to make the descending tom fill for SC licks. Besides, I love to use the "18 on left-16 on right" flam when necessary.

More like the earlier setup, but mahogany-finish Superstar instead of blue/black Imperialstar. I never really got into the Rudes or Zildjians...kind of went my own way with 2002s, 3000s, or Sound Formulas. May not be a perfect reproduction of the SC chariot, but I very much enjoy playing it.
