First Oysterhead show?

First Oysterhead show?

Postby lancaster on 19 Apr 2013 19:19

I'm after the complete New Orleans show. I've seen snippets around here and there, but not the whole thing.
Can anyone get me in the right direction? Thanks!

Here's a decent version:

http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=43704

Oysterhead
Saenger Theater
New Orleans, LA
May 4, 2000

Oysterhead is:
Trey Anastasio -guitar
Les Claypool -bass
Stewart Copeland -percussion

This was the first full Oysterhead show.

- 2 Source SBD/AUD MATRIX -

Source info:

SBD: Soundboard> dat> rme96/8> cdwav> mkw> .shn

AUD: B&K 4011> Grace Lunatec V2> Graham Patton ADC-20 @ 48khz
transfer: D8> Event Gina SPDIF in> Sound Forge 48 to 44.1k
conversion at highest quality setting> cdwav> .shn> etree ftp server> CD-R> EAC> .flac

[This source was recorded by Gunter Adkins, from the tapers section, under the balcony.]

Matrix transfers: .shn/.flac> Trader's Little Helper (decoding to .wav)> CD-R> CD Wave Editor (extracts & de-tracking)> PC> Audacity Beta 1.3 (synch/edit/fades)> CD Wave Editor (Tracking)> .flac (level 6 - TLH)

Note: The SBD was amplified slightly using Audacity to achieve a basically 50/50 mix. There was some clipping on the original AUD source, but it wasn't too bad. No EQ was done. A couple of pops were removed, and some gaps in the SBD that had apparently been removed, were pasted back in order to synch the two.
This is my first full-show matrix mix -- the best way to learn it is to do it. I wasn't planning on sharing it, but to my ears it sounds good, so I'm passing it along. - Slickdaddyo

Disc 1:
1) I Am Oysterhead
2) Mr. Oysterhead>
3) Floyd jam> Rubberneck Lions>
4) Wrong Song Jam
5) Owner Of The World

Thanks, Equalizer!
Now that we're at it, does anyone know where to find the Denver 31/10/2001 show? I've read it was quite special!
