Kollected

By the way... someone please get Stewart to reissue the Kollected cd. I've been after it for ages but there's no way I'm going to pay what they're asking for used copies on ebay/amazon, dammit!

Do you just need the music, or are you after the physical CD? (I figure the latter, b/c it's got to be available for download multiple places a la ITunes...)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

$65 to $70 is a fair price for this release in good shape. A reissue would likely be altered from the original in some way so you'd want both...
I paid $20 or so new back then, so paying $60 for it now if I'd missed it wouldn't be so bad...

$200 is outrageously high

Well, I'd love to have it on physical format, obviously. But, as much as I love the music and I love to support my favourite artists, I can never get myself to pay more than 20-30 euros (or dollars) on a single release. I just can't.

And the files I've found laying around are either incomplete or outrageous quality anyway...

The used cd market, as with everything else in life, has its ups and downs.. As long as people are ready to spend the dough the sellers will inflate the prices, it's human nature. I just refuse to play the game. I know a lot of people who'd be happy to have those 60 or 70 spare euros to pay some basic everyday necessity, and they haven't got that amount.

It's all a rip off. It doesn't matter whether it's music, electronics or houses. It's all the same.

So maybe a reissue would fill thee need for this material out here ;) Regular prices, sought after songs, sure sale. Everybody happy, etc :D

If I only I had known back in 1995 when it came out, I would have grabbed more than the one copy I got at Best Buy for $15.

Ditto.

A friend of mine actually found her copy in a bargain bin a few years later for just a couple of bucks.

I paid about $30 for the Japanese release back in 1987; this was just the eight tracks.
