OT: My PICS were STOLED???

OK is time to give this more movement... I mean not using to post it into a previous one although is related... days passed from the incident and I was into a close mouth attitude since my last response or declaration.

What happened these days? I received some not good commentaries from a couple of what I considered "friends", the rest was strongly support and that was reflected on the good acceptation of the FB Page https://www.facebook.com/ThePoliceFansFiles ,But Why this couple of "friends" were disappointing about me, is simple...If I qualify or stigmatize someone like a "Thief" or "Robber" the logical reaction is to be apart of that cancer or not believe on that Judas...

Ok I assume my responsibility to be a "Thief" I assume to be insulted in that way, with the big mistake that published into https://www.facebook.com/ThePoliceFansFiles two pics from Dietmar (that I never knew were from him, because it was took from google) and that was IMMEDIATELY DELETED when I received his PUBLIC CLAIM AND INSULT... In few words I was a 5 SECONDS THIEF...

What are those pics? Two POLICE ART POSTERS usually sold by "Outlandos Fan Club" and that was captured by Dietmar by his camera or scanner (like he explained on his public claim)

On that way, 5 years before -for be exactly during "The Reunion Tour" and some days after "The Police" concert in Santiago de Chile- I sent around two or three scanned articles of that concert to the administrators of Stewart's website... So, What's wrong? that someone "stole" my authory name, copyrights, or whatever it was on the scanned news articles I sent... my name wasn't there!!! Ohhh my God!!! Do you believe what name was instead of mine? Yeah you guess!!! Dietmar name was instead of my glory name... Do I knew it? Yeah I knew it since those days... Why I never claim? Because I consider was ridiculous to claim something like this... I never felt is urgent or necessary to edit it, because I also know the hard work to build a website for something little than this... and I never make any tragedy or negative campaign to anybody and for me wasn't a tragedy that someone like Dietmar won my credits free and it was right for me, I won't be messy about it ...

For instance, by someones I was a "Thief" OK, perhaps a 5 SECONDS THIEF versus 5 YEARS TO WAS MY NAME STOLED FROM A COPYRIGHT CREDIT... Don't be worry about it, because it doesn't have any sense on me... Is not my style to stigmatize anybody specially on great people who built a place like this... I only consider it an error, simple than that, because everybody are human that commitment mistakes, so I don' t need any apologies... is like "Men at work" song "Is a Mistake".

I mentioned before I made some pics of Sting that were used like portraits on DVD-s and CD-s that sold around the world and I never claim anything, in spite of the fact my credits were on it and were occult. If those pics brings an smile or happiness to fans it satisfy me plenty.

So for Dietmar I assume my responsibility and guilty for was a "thief" (in their words) I am someone that lift this cross for the rest of their life, for being the one who forget who was the author that made click on his camera or press the "on" button over two POLICE ART POSTERS.

I also want to be clear that if both fans were banned or blocked from https://www.facebook.com/ThePoliceFansFiles never was from the pics episode it was from their continues teased and negative comments before and after it.

Finally I wish to him only an inner peace on his soul and a kiss on his forehead in signal of forgiveness... I won't try to claim on him someone similar that repair his qualifiers. I hope this serve to close all this chapter on their accounts, groups, forums and websites and see the world more harmony, balanced, peaceful and friendly. I don't thing is a battle of nothing or egos competition -on my side really not-

a) There's a copyright on written articles in newspapers, magazines and books as well as on photos. So if you scan an article and show it on the net, this is a copyright violation in itself - even if the photos are not shown. The legal way is to ask the writer for his approval.
You mention sending articles to the administrators of Stewart's website, but that I was credited for it - at least that's how I understand your post. So what do I have to do with the credit ? Nothing.

b) You presented two of my photos on your website and removed them after I asked for it. That's perfectly fine. The point that you still don't get is that it is not OK to find pictures on the net, download them, forget about where they came from and upload them again. Many of the other pictures on your Facebook fan page come from easily identifiable sources like Wireimage, Corbis, Redferns, Barry Schultz, Evil Vince... do they all know you took these images and presented them on your Facebook page?
The teases and negative comments you mention : I wrote that you probably have no right to show these images. Was there more to insult you? I don't think so.
I completely understand that one doesn't want to read such a comment under every picture of one's photo page ...

The only negative comments from others here or on Facebook about that topic were of the kind that asked the same question that I am asking - it's if you understand that the habit of posting other people's pictures on your own Facebook page is a continuous copyright violation ? Nothing more, I think, so people still like you. But that question remains unanswered.

I sincerely don't remember about the 'article issue'; what I do remember is that we (Eugenio and I), asked to all the fans to have scans of Police Tour related articles to be uploaded on a specific page devoted to the 'press' talking about The Police, taking our risk of course toward the owner of the article; in that case, nobody had nothing to say about it and I never had a complaint from the authors and/or the orginal publisher (magazines, newspapers, etc...), knowing anyway that I could have been contacted from one of them asking to took it off our web.
Said that, we usually wrote the credit of who gave us that stuff, but considering the mess created by the fuzz of the Reunion Tour, I can only say that when we uploaded it, we may have messed around with the name, and (I don't remember but I trust you) we may have wrote the name of Dietmar instead of yours; sorry about that, a simple mistake, but have you told us about it by that time? When we do mistakes, we receive a mail, a note, or whatever is good to let us know we have done a mistake and we change it. Sincerely, I don't remember about that episode, but in the future, f you let us know about something like that and we do not change it, please write again to push on it.

Now, l guess everything concerning copyright has been cleared once again with this post, can we please stop talking about that in this forum? You and Dietmar are both very very active, important and definitely nice guys; I guess everyone loves you here for your great contribution. I think the forum (in this case the word 'forum' is more than appropriate) has read and witnessed the case. I don't think there is anything else to add, beyond that your presence is always welcomed here.

Absolutely, I am totally agree ...any battle, any war...only peace... well everybody knows it isn't the level Sting and Stewart discuss and we are not comparable to them

By the way, Are you noticed about the new "Curved Air" album called "Air Waves"? Is a BBC digitalize compilation of "Curved Air" sessions on their studios during 1970-71 and 1976 with Stewart on drums (there are five tracks with Stewart on it) and it's considered the most fascinated...
