Thanks for the warm wishes and sorry for the late reply. Being a teacher, a student and the mother of three students, I find my birthday is particularly ill-placed. Birthday celebrations become just one more item on my long to-do list at this time of year. However, I took some time out for myself on the day and enjoyed a relaxing walk in the park on a gorgeous late summer afternoon. Then last night I finally got a chance to celebrate at a pub with some family and friends.
