an actor from one of my fave tom hanks movies the green mile died today. michael clarke duncan. today is very sad and prayers go out to his family

I just heard this on the news. Very sad. I too saw him for the first time in Green Mile and followed his career afterwards. He was only 54; didn't get the entire story about what happened, but he died in the hospital.

He had suffered a heart attack a few months prior, and just never recovered. It is sad. He was a gentle giant.
