this was back from last month but...
I saw and spoke to Stewart at the Hugh Masekela show at UCLA Royce Hall on 2/10/12.
It was during the intermission between sets, i spotted a rather animated individual flailing his arms about while speaking to a few other attendees. at first i thought this person was inebriated or perhaps a little deranged but as i looked closer, it was just Stewart telling tales with particularly emphatic gesturing!
not one to pass up an opportunity such as this, i made my way towards him just as the house lights were dimming for the second half and mentioned how i recently saw the "certifiable" dvd and it reminded me of what a wonderful time the reunion tour was in 07-08. he asked if i also watched the better than therapy documentary, to which i responded yes and that it was very well done by his son.
he was leaving the theater and i wished him a good night as he departed with (whom i believe was) his wife.
it was a nice bonus to an overwhelmingly positive evening as the concert was excellent as well.
