Do we know about what time the winners will be notified or announced? I will probably be inaccessible to the internet for about half the day. Hopefully the earlier the better since this involves making last minute plans and a lot of the flights that I have been perusing are about booked (and probably sky high before too long).

I'm assuming it'll be by phone?

*bump*

It was 5 years ago to this day that the contest was announced (after a lot of wanking because at first only Sting.com members were going to have a contest for passes - they still got 20 compared to our 4, FWIW. But THANK YOU GIO for those 4!...though we never found out who the mysterious 4th winner actually WAS...)

I remember agonizing all day if I would enter or not...I knew the answer of course but did not know how or if I'd be able to swing flying to LA at the last minute. I went just now and looked at my private/friends-only blog from that day, and saw I was asking folks if I should go for it or not - and the entire lot of fucking enablers said DO IT DO IT DO IT.

So fucking glad that I did.

Ha, I still remember watching it live on TV, and suddenly seeing this all too familiar curly haired fan rocking out in the crowd shot, and I shouted out Holy Shit that's Sockii! And my wife gave me the usual "wtf are you talking about" look...

Such exciting times. :)

A long time collaborator of StewartCopeland.it and .net on the 'lawyers' side; working on a website like this, it's easy to step on someonelse's feet (publishers, managers, photographers, etc...), and to have someone like him on board is very important; he's also a die-hard Stewart fan, but he's not into posting or interact on our forum.
He got my own ticket.

This was one of the most awesome things ever to happen, ever.

Someone was talking about 'favorite Police gigs' over on another board...

I just keep putting 2.7.07. When they walked out and onto the stage, I thought my heart would explode.

The guy in front of us cried through the entire thing. Now I wish I had, too.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!
