it's only getting worse and worse, and people aren't paying attention now that the so-called blackout is over.

I agree 100% people should be outraged. It's just another step in the wrong direction away from democracy, and toward a police state.

Have been writing letters and getting active for some time now against the airport body scanners. I have a laundry list of reasons for those of you who may be interested (the manufacturers who create them pay big bucks to Congress; the machines are ineffective and cost $$$ to manufacture, which is why it's a corrupt boondoggle; they're not tested and likely are unsafe; they can save photos - of naked underage children...the list goes on)

Anyway I'd encourage folks to get involved with sites like EPIC.org, who are actually really lobbying and encouraging people to write letters, visit Congress etc. not just encouraging them to write angry posts on the Internet.

sigh...I guess I'm just going to have to start also reading right-wing sources to stay informed, no matter how much it makes my blood pressure go up.

Ha. yeah....but I think we live in a postpartisan world on some of this stuff. It has surprised me as well, the sources and material I've been reading and promoting. (also putting a cork in it - see you on FB ;))
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!
