Today's Presales
Hey Rooster, where'd you get seats?
I got 2 in sect. A, row 31 and 2 in sect. B, row 33
I got four (4) $90 tix, in the Plaza (red) section #104, row G -- looks to be seats on an aisle too, best as I can tell.

I had a chance to get four (4) of the $200 tickets, but I really did not want to spend almost $850 for tickets -- I just couldn't do it. I didn't even look at where the $200 tickets were, I just threw them back and hoped for decent $90 tickets -- which I think I got.

But I think I'm quite happy with section 104 (at least in the Plaza section), and row G is probably only 7 rows up from the floor.

You see, I may be paying for two of the tickets (for a couple of friends of mine) out of my own pocket, in addition for paying for my wife's and my own tickets. So getting the $200 tickets just wasn't something I could consider doing.

(My friend had a rather major health crisis recently (a stroke), at a fairly young age -- mid 30's -- and with all his medical bills, I'm not 100% sure if he could pay for his tickets even if he wanted to. At this point I'm just hoping he's well enough to go to the concert. His stroke was back in late December, and it's a good thing the concert is all the way off in July. He should be well enough to go, but only time will tell.)

Rooster--best wishes...I guess it makes me step back a sec when I'm all in a frenzy about getting tickets and other perspectivally smaller things...hope you all have the rockinest time!

BlueSeattle: section 318...I said 2-tears-in-a-bucket-mf-it and got the $90 seats when front row of the section popped up...major side stage but wth...I decided to trade in Hershey for mid range seats at Tampa...I think you got a good deal on your seats though :)

Only have to stay up twelve hours seventeen minutes and fourteen seconds for Amsterdam sale...heh

I'm so glad my buddy is still alive, quite frankly. For a couple weeks there, there was really some doubt about him even surviving, and if so -- there could have easily been a ton of brain-damage too -- which, thankfully, there wasn't.

Amazingly, they're now saying that he should recover almost 95% (!!!) -- though it may take him a full year to get there (or most of the way there).

For the first 6-8 weeks, he was almost 100% paralized on one side of his body, but he's got about 20% use of his left leg back now, and 15% in his left arm. Supposedly both are supposed to come back 90%, plus or minus.

Truth is, I don't really know for sure if he'll be well enough by July to go to the concert, but we're all hoping for the very best -- and the doctors keep giving us all kinds of reason for hope too.

Keeping all my fingers crossed here.

I am so jealous of the Roo folks. Came so close to going, but the travel issues royally screwed things. Please be sure to get nice and skanky on behalf of all of us SC.netters, Chris.
I will be rank with skank, my friend! :D Unless i fall under the good graces of a shower provider. I'm much too proud to ask!

RT, that's a touching effort you're putting forth for your friend. Knowing he has people like you caring for him should give him the will and strength he needs to enable his recovery. I'll keep my fingers crossed too!

Hey Rooster,

Sorry to hear about your buddy's stroke. A classmate of mine from high school suffered a stroke last year while she was pregnant when she was 36. She didn't lose any motor skills or muscle control but did lose some of her vocabulary. Life can be downright strange sometimes.

I shall expect no less! But if you just can't hack the rank, aim for the pay-showers. $10/pop, I think.

I'll have clean water, will share. However my hotel will be 10+ miles away and I have no idea what hours I'll be there...

I still think we oughta swap cell phone numbers before heading out...
