MSG 7th August 2008

Blimey can you believe its 3 years ago today?
Never been to a gig like it or ever will....

Seems like only yesterday - its embedded in my brain.
You could of lit the Big Apple skies with the electricity in the air that night.
It was tangible.

The joyous look on fans faces.
Wonderful memories.

The Police. Best band in the world.Ever.

Thank you Stewart.

Going to New York with no ticket in hand, holding breath at ticket booth, here ya go ...whew, Thanks Stewart.

One of those moments in life where all feels good with the world. Meeting internet friends who are all different and yet familiar, such warmth. DM losing her ticket, panic, solved. So much laughter. All you cool people from Moe n DM to Animal, Tamadude n Dietmar, Moonstone, Kimmy n SteveL. Dive, Vespa n Socki, Samburu, Moonstone,Conroy with Sally, Skaman,EQ ... everyone, I mean everyone. Felt like the friggin sixties man.

Peace, Love n rimshots n pints to all of you.

Still proudly display my cardboard "Flaggie" behind my drums.

BongoSentimental O !

It was definitely an event. Strange though - it's a night I'll never forget, although one I barely remember...

Such good memories. Meet so many great people and went to some awesome places. It's kind of bittersweet thinking back on it.

Gotta say thanks again, Stewart!
That was pretty freakin' awesome!

Maybe we should post our framed "Thank You" flags that Kellie made. I'll do mine once I'm home - out of town for a couple days. It's in my office, where I see it daily...and think of you crazy kids all over the world....
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!
