16/20...Some of those were obscure! But that was fun. You should do another one and poll some of us for some tough questions, here is 5 off the top of my head...like....

1) Who were the 4 people in the room when Henri and Stewart invited Sting over to apply for the job of bassist in thier new band?

2) There were a couple of folks in the house too. three I believe. Who were they?

3) Where did the Police first play when they came to Chicago (a homer question...like the Philly one!) and is it still there?

4) What music school did Jeff Seitz attend?

5)What brand of motorcycle were the Police given and pphotographed repeatedly on in the move "Around the world" and several stills?

for the answers scroll dowm

Dude, Kmart, I hear Stewart only got 3 of your questions right. :) Which was four more than I got.

18/20.

I was wrong at question #11 : I answered "Fiction Plane" instead of "B-52's";
and wrong at question #16 : "Shock The Monkey" instead of "Red Rain".

I have a question about #1 (which I got wrong). i've always read that Stewart was born in Virginia (being a Virginian, it is in my blood), but didn't we discuss here that he has said in an recent interview that he was born in Egypt? So, I (against my better judgment and upbringing) got the answer wrong. What do you think?

It often happens that wrong information gets put out there in interviews with Stewart. For the print interviews, I'd like to think that Stewart just speaks too quickly and things get transcribed wrong. However, there have been a few audio interviews in which Stewart actually gave incorrect information. I remember during the flurry of radio and TV interviews just before the end of Tourzilla, Stewart kept saying he was a year older than he actually was. We even had a thread up here devoted to posts reminding Stewart of his real age. If you want pure facts, it's best to do as Stewart once suggested: "If you have any questions, ask Dietmar."

He actually said he was born in Cairo in that interview: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11897#p187679

Here's the interview: http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/dc9/201 ... land_t.php

It puzzled me too, but I picked Virginia for the quiz question since that's always been the standard answer.

I did better than I thought I would - 17/20. I had a couple of lucky guesses though.
