I'm so relieved to know you are all safe. This good news and the concern and warmth of friendship among this international group are welcome scraps of joy on this otherwise devastating day.

I'm so glad everyone is ok over there! Truly mind boggling images we have been witnessing. Highlights the fact of how truly small we are in the grand scheme.

Here on the west coast of So Cali they issued an advisory, but we got nothing more than a few hours of strong surf.
I could go back home safely with my husband Takashi.
Thank you so much for worried about & thought of us Japanese friends.
Uccellina e-mailed us and told us that our friends on S.C.net were thinking about us.
YOU ARE ALL AMAZING FRIENDS!!!!
I believe that your warm hearts guarded us from such terrible quakes!!!

I was working with my shop-clerk mates at the shop located in the center of Tokyo when the 1st quake happened.
It became bigger & bigger, so we had let our customers out of the shop and criticized on the middle of the wide road.
All people there looked at when the buildings were shaking and bumping with the next buildings!!!!
I even heard the sound of bumping, so horrible!

Then the 2nd quake happened and us all shop-clerkss got a direction from an officer as "close the shop and return home safely".
But all the traffic was down and cell.phone couldn't work. We had to walk 6 hours with no-contact with our family.

That was hard time for all of us. But thank God, my boy was safe and protected by my friend. I could catch up my husband on my way home.
and I never forget what my people did for me.
My boss guarded and took me to the station where my husband waited me.
My friends sent me warm e-mails & helped my boy a lot.
and you, my friends from all over the world worried me cheered me up like this.
Your sweet words brought tears to my eyes.
Been on holiday and no computer until now-Masayo, I had that Christmas card you sent last year w/ photo of you and your family, just prayed hard that you 3, and also Yumiko , and my cousin's (in-law) family in Osaka were all ok. Heard all on the radio, just now seeing the videos and photos. This is so heartbreaking! One of my other cousins is married to a woman from New Zealand, her family is in Christchurch, but got through that quake.
I am so glad to read that you and the other Nutters in Japan are safe-it is just overwhelming!
I am still still praying for y'all's country and the people who have survived this. Take care, God bless.

I feel so sad because this Earth´s wild behaviour.
It´s fine to know Japanese forumers are safe.
My humble wild behaviour is to love Japan a bit more than before.
Go Rising Sun!!!
Peace.

MIDORI! I'm overjoyed to see you speak somewhere!

For anyone who knows Police Dog: he, too, has posted that he is safe.

Please keep staying safe, Team Tokyo. Thanks for checking in. It's a relief on many hearts just to see you guys talk.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
