Having downloaded the original back when I first posted that, the edited version on the radio now just sounds wrong. They even censor the part where he says "I really hate your ass right now".

Ain't that some shit?

It's just wrong! But it actually is a catchy tune. Good for him that it's doing well despite being butchered, lol.

Shatner's vocal stylings are always entertaining.

I swear I heard it some time ago in a supermarket radio or so, and it wasn't censored. I remember wondering why it was uncensored.

Perhaps they think italians don't what the lyrics are generally about

CeeLo got robbed for 'Song of the Year' at the Grammys, if you ask me. We'll all be singing "Fuck You" in ten years while Lady Anteboring is selling for $1.99 in the cutout bin. They're part of the soulless vapid crap being put out that gives Nashville a bad name, IMO...

I remember thinking while watching the Grammys that it makes NO sense that you can't say "fuck," but you can wear your underwear and simulate masturbation. But then, I gave up trying to figure out morals and attitudes in this country a long time ago. Buncha freakin' hypocrites, we are...

It's not just the profanity and the catchiness of the song that make it great. I think almost everyone has had a "fuck you, and fuck her too" moment in their lives.

Oh HELL yes. That song is/was an instant classic. Hubs and I have been singing it around the house since someone first forwarded us the YouTube link. I'm especially fond of the 'woo hoo hoo hoo' after the chorus...
