The Superstar kit from PATW and ZM plus the Tourzilla percussion rig. I never liked the percussion set up from the Synch tour that much, which is probably the only thing he's played that I did not like.

Clarification: this pertains only to his Police work. From a purely visual ascethetic (or however you spell it) point of view, I've always been very fond of the green OYSTERHEAD kit (cough cough)

ETA: Had to edit my response as my initial response was made in complete error

Whatever he played from the Regatta tour on--simply because added the octobans and splash cymbals. I agree with EQ--not that into the percussion rig.

BTW we could start a thread on Andy's guitar, because he did play some other axes besides the Tele. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame comes to mind and it's not a happy thought...

Not to mention the shite delay he used on "Roxanne." I'm hoping that Fender had already acquired the Tele to make the Signature model. I'd hate to imagine Andy thought it a good idea to use something else on a Police gig.

Glad I'm not the only one who hated that guitar. AND he totally changed the arpeggios on EBYT. That was a terrible gig, anyway. What was up with Stewart's kit? He had the whole John Bonham thing going on.

It was pretty obvious that they hadn't played together in a while.

The Hall of Fame performance was with the green drumset, right? That's when he broke his snare head, if I remember correctly.

Stewart indeed broke his snare head at the HOF show.

The Superstar kit from Police Around the World and Zenyatta Mondatta Tour Hands down. That kit defines Stewart sound as mentioned and has a rawness to it.
