Remember that post- heel up or heel down?

Remember that post- heel up or heel down?

Postby Spec A! on 19 Aug 2010 12:09

Apparently I play heel up for the most part. Did a foot version of Good Times Bad Times for all the naysayers that commented on my original video, thinking I was using a double kick:

And a RUSH song for ya:

Great legs! Sounds good too! I enjoyed some of your other videos (again) too. Thanks, Spec A!

What is with all of you crazy barefoot people?

Well done! That main kick pedal is wobbling an awful lot, though - are you sure you've got it in the right spot? Or are you just set up on really plush carpet?

How'd the Police tribute band thing work out?

Super plush- also why my hi hat stand jumps all over- it is what it is, but I have grand plans to do an attic conversion into a soundproofed music room, instead of cramming them into my master closet!

No go so far on the tribute- dudes flaked out twice on meeting up and we have yet to get together. Still looking...

Dude.
Excellent left foot independance. And one of the most difficult songs to demonstrate it on. That is a skill that's harder than it may seem. I've been working hard at that lately. It's coming along slowly. You've obviously mastered it. Did you develop it or is one of those 'born with it' things? Any excercises you can recommend?
Mad skill, dude.
Tell the jealous utube haters to hate the game, not the playah!
I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on the drums all day.

Your kit is in a CLOSET? Dude, that's like trying to squeeze a Rhino into a Mini Cooper!

Yeah, ditch the flakes. They so do not deserve your superior skills.

Dude's gotta do what he has to do. It's more important to have them than to have room for them (my philosophy).
