U2 today in Turin

DUDE! I am so psyched for you! It's going to be epic. Maybe even with cake! Edge's birthday is coming up!
But seriously, what I heard on YouTube of recordings people made of sound checks from 2 blocks away sounded great. I am following along when I can thanks to Twitter etc. Looking forward to your report!

Great show, great energy!
Bono was so happy to be on stage again after what he passed a few months ago that you could hear it in his voice.
Good performances and two new songs; one is definitely a work in progress, just guitar and vocals, but has to be worked ... the second one is very nice, a little bit 'Vertigo-Get On Your Boots' style..there is a nice chords sequence and I'm sure that will sound cool once heard the studio version.
The setlist is similar to last year tour, but they start with a couple of minutes little intro, while Bono goes around the stage ... then 'Beautiful Day', followed by 'Magnificent'.
'With Or Without You', 'Where The Street...', 'Unforgettable Fire', 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' and many other hits were included.
No way to listen to 'New Year's Day', nor 'Gloria'...what a pity.

I saw several songs on YouTube and if it sounded that good on a laptop I'm sure it must have been fantastic. I was so happy to see Bono looking and sounding healthy and happy.

I'm glad you got to see this show, Gio! And I heard they sang Happy Birthday to Edge.

If I would have known that before we could have met! Were you on the floor?
I was there too. As Gio said, the show was incredibly intense. I'm very happy Bono kinda turned again into the rock star he used to be back in the Pop Mart Tour (the stage is even similar).

The new songs were just amazing and the crowd seemed to like them immediately.
