Are you willing to dish out $250 per ticket?

thoughts?

NO, as I didn't do it with The Police...that means a lot to me and sincerely a rock show do not worth that much...I got very close to it anyway! The most important thing for me is to be there; of course I love being in the front row, and I 'solved the problem' going mainly to the shows where to be front row you shouldn't have to pay the highest ticket...just have two strong legs and run the doors opened...
I know that for U2, because of the stage, this is not possible, but I can also say that you have a wonderful and great view from wherever you are thanks to the way the stage is built.

I didn't have to. For the September shows I paid $95 before fees and had good seats--for a football stadium. The best seats are really the spots on the floor in the general admission section or the red zone (charity auction section). Therefore, for the shows I'm seeing in July, I went with GAs for $55. Even if we don't for some reason get very close, then we still didn't overpay for what we're getting.

That said, if they were playing arenas, and I could get something like a section 71 in MSG I would probably pay $250 as I did for the Police in November 07 when I had the flag and a most excellent view. If they add shows in stadiums I will try for a red zone pass.

I try to limit my ticket insanities to bands with a built-in expiration date.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
