Can I say this here: Don't go to Best Buy- their geek squad can't find a loose cable. (There was a little expose on them a month or so ago..)
Oh yeah, and Best Buy ate all the good tickets :) !

My Daddy does it for me.

Do you have virus protection, or anti spyware on your computer? If you don't, you need it. Most likley it's got lots of spyware.

Is it just the internet that is slow or do all the programs on the PC seem slow? Are you running a lot of other programs? How often do you reboot it? I think Mrs. Gradenko is probably right and it's spyware. But if you are running a lot of other programs and haven't rebooted it recently, it could be that your PC has run out of RAM and is paging to the Virtual Ram (hard drive space set aside to be used as RAM when your physical RAM is all used up). This happens on my iBook when I don't reboot it for a long time and I have a lot tabs and windows open in Firefox and it makes the internet seems slow but it's really the notebook.

If you are running IE7, dump it. I did the Windows-suggested update a few weeks ago, my page loading time probably more than quadrupled. So I now run Mozilla Firefox (which is a free download).
