I am not sure I ever see a Starclassic snare sell for anywhere near $799.

I'm not familiar w/ any prices. Figured those with greater knowledge would know whether/not these were "really" good deals.

The $799 snare could be platinum plated or something

Thanks, E! The msrp is just for show, they hardly sell for that except maybe straight out the gate on pre-order/release...If you are interested in comparing the value of these prices, sizes will make a huge difference, too, especially for cymbals...
