If they do play Wrigley, will it be a night gig? I mean the Cubs have to get special permission to even have the 30 or so games they play at night. Heck, I might not even get tickets, but take the el-train down to Addison and go to a local tavern with a bear garden. I can't believe they's play Wrigley (neighborhood, NO parking) but not Comiskey Park which has as good public transportation access and parking lots...

Hell Soldier Field...you could probably get 80,000 in their for a gig. I know I am hearing Wrigley, but it just doesn't seem feasable.

Waldbühne/Berlin - September could still work (Pearl Jam played there last year) but October might be too cold.

Tractor Tavern, Seattle
Wrigley Field, Chicago
Temple of Castor and Pollux, Forum Romanum
Kinetic Playground, Chicago
Amphitheatrum Flavium, Rome

I live in Chicago (just 2 miles from Wrigley Field) and have a Best Buy code. My strategy is to probably try to get tickets in Minneapolis/St.Paul (my home town), St. Louis, Columbus.... some smaller markets. I figure I can score the very best seats that way. I may try for a show at Wrigley any how just for the sheer spectacle of it. Concert capacity for Wrigley is 40,000. They held a couple Jimmy Buffet concerts around the 4th of July in 2004 or 2005 which I understand was pretty successful. The Wrigley shows would be night shows.
