Oh, Conroy, my heart still bleeds for you. I thought for sure you were in. Not that it's any consolation whatsoever, but I was thinking I probably would have flown out for just the gathering at the backstage to watch the grammy's together. The rest was just icing (OK, extremely thick and sweet icing, mind you...) The coming together of fanclubs was fun.
Just found out some horrible news which pretty much knocked me off of the cloud I've been on. Before the show, I was talking with you about the guy on another list that lives near you (that got married at the Stardust a couple years ago). His wife was just tragically killed by a bus on the 15th. God, I feel so stupid.

Gene, if you're reading, I've figured out why I never post here, too many things to follow at all these sites. Now we have one more to keep up with? Ugh, my butt's going to get very large sitting in front of this computer every spare moment!

Need to get my photos up, I have some porn to share (yes, women groping a wall)
: )

Can't figure out how to get the photo on here, but did the Whisky sign really have The Police on it? I don't remember seeing it, but have seen photos from wireimage. Then again, am I being stupid in not figuring out that it was photoshopped in? Conroy, you would have been witness to that, no?

Hi Michelle,

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's wife. My heart goes out to him and his family.

Even though I didn't get in, I'm so glad I went. You and everyone else from sting.com were so much fun to hang with that it helped to make the trip worthwhile despite not getting to sample the icing on the cake.

Yeah, it was on the sign, but I don't think they put it on there until after you guys went in. i remember watching someone change the leters while I was outside talking to other people. I figure they were still trying to keep it a lid on things as much as possible by waiting until everyone and the concert already started to keep from having a mob scene there.

Anyway, I'm so glad you guys were there and let me live vicariously through your experiences. I hope we can all meet again someday and look back on this historic event together. And welcome aboard.
