Listening to the Police, post-Tourzilla

Postby njperry on 13 Mar 2009 19:20

During the Tourzilla, the Police music I listened to was mostly life shows and once I started getting shows from 2007-08, I mostly listened to them. And when I got Certifiable, I listened to that a lot (despite it not really seeming like a concert with the crowd being edited out).

However, now that the tour has been over for more than 6 months, I find I am being drawn far more into the Police studio work. I am turning to the studio albums for my Police music these days.

Wonder if others are feeling the same way.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

I'm still lovin' Certifiable, but my first love will always be the first 3 albums. Who couldn't love Outlandos, Regatta and Zenyatta? They have, and always will, rock my world!

Sorry, OT here. Just gotta say this:

Charlie, I LOVE your avatar!! I miss those people, too! OMG, remember how hard it was to get that picture taken? We were all laughing our asses off!!
Great memory, for sure!

Thanks for putting a smile on my face! Miss you much!

I miss you too Nancy. That was a great show, with some great people. On the fun scale, it was like a pre-cursor to that crazy first week of August in New York. One of these days I'm gonna have to upload all my Tourzilla pics and post some links. There's alot that haven't been seen.

I'm with you EQ,

Ipod has Certifiable, and the boots to the 2 philly shows and MSG. I seem to skip the MIABox stuff and go straight to these. :)

Oh, I remember T... you were the quiet gal who sat down near the end of the table with her beloved while we made asses of ourselves and did tequilla shots. I SO wish that I had made more of an effort to chat with you, but as I recall from one of your trip reports you were in kind of a self-induced parallel universe that evening weren't you?

For everyones viewing pleasure if they missed Concord and Stewarts birthday party...

Well, yes, that woz me. In a parallel universe, right-o (which explains me being quiet). Trip report alright!
Also the reason why I chickened out from that famous shot of tequila I had promised to down.

I tend not to abandon my beloved when he kindly accompanies me in the heart of the nutter Dome, making an effort to do what every self-respecting Gemini never does: see a band he likes OK for the second time in less than a year 8)...

To this day, Concord looms in my calendar as a major Lost Opportunity in every sense. And yes, the end of the Police live.
