The Garden really isn't bad seating-wise, no matter where you're at. I've been there more than a few times for shows in lots of different locations. Plus you're right over Penn Station so if you're like me, it's a great location for coming in from out of town and being able to get back home without too much fuss or muss.
It's really just a factor of the crowd there for me. They'll either make or break the experience. Too often I've been stuck -- even in the primo seat sections -- surrounded by idiots who spend the entire concert on the cell phone shouting to their friends back home about the show, or stoned out/drunk/just generally being obnixious. But maybe that's the same everywhere these days, I don't know.
I'm thinking I'm going for broke on Tuesday and just seeing what I can get between MSG and Fenway in the general sale. If I can't make all the shows I'll just trade tickets for something else.
